Meet the band that’s defining worship’s next generation with unwavering dedication.
The Young, a musical endeavor with a profound purpose, was born when Marc Wymore, a third-generation worship leader, welcomed his daughter Merci into the world in 2009. Their debut album, “Hot Air Balloons,” released that year, struck a chord with audiences, selling over 10,000 copies. In 2011, Marc celebrated the arrival of his son, Phoenix, by dedicating his second kids’ album to him, marking another milestone in their journey.
Since then, The Young has evolved, releasing two more albums and nurturing a new generation of worship leaders aged 8-12. Young adults have played a crucial role in shaping the band’s mission, emphasizing discipleship and mentorship. Guided by faith, The Young has traveled to numerous nations, performing at conferences, camps, and churches. Currently, they are passionately working on their upcoming album, “T.L.L.O.M. (This Little Light of Mine),” produced by TOFER Paul and Marc Wymore. The Young is more than a band; it’s a musical ministry, a family, and a testament to the power of faith and worship. Join their remarkable journey, one note at a time.
